Fireside Solitaire is a relaxing card puzzle that features and tranquility as you play by the comforting warmth of a crackling fire. The core gameplay involves placing cards on the discard pile that are one rank higher or lower than the top card (for instance, you can place a 8 or a 10 on a 9). Your objective is to clear all columns from the tableau before the draw pile is completely exhausted. To achieve this, you must reveal and utilize cards from the tableau to free those hidden underneath. If you reach a point where no moves are available, you must draw a new card from the pile. Thinking ahead is crucial, as once the draw pile runs out, it cannot be reshuffled, and the game concludes immediately if no further moves are possible.
