According to classic Golf solitaire rules, the suit or color do not matter. Moreover this particular version of patience game online offers a choice of challenge. In the Easy mode, you can place Ace or Queen on top of the King, but in the Hard mode you can only cover King with a new card from the stock. Pro Play isn't very challenging and it doesn't play true to a real card games to play alone as it tries to prolong game by keeping points away from one with highest points. Also, the moves made by other players are not true moves in a real game.
